Ware 250^th Anniversary Committee

seeks subcommittee volunteers

WARE – The steering committee for the Ware 250^th Anniversary Celebration has established three new working subcommittees to help members in planning all aspects of the year-long celebration commencing in September 2010.

At last Tuesday night’s meeting, the steering committee voted to create subcommittees for “Public Relations” to oversee all aspects of communications, marketing and outreach, “Finance” to track and raise funds, and “Events” to plan and coordinate dozens of celebrations being held throughout the year.

If Ware residents or people who work in Ware would like to join one of these subcommittees, or learn more about them, you are invited to attend the next steering committee meeting at Ware Town Hall. Subcommittee meetings will be held once per month with individual goals and assignments in between sessions.
