INCOMING LOAN AGREEMENT

 

The Ware 250th Anniversary Celebration Steering Committee agrees to borrow the following object(s), subject to these conditions:

 

Incoming loans are accepted for the purpose of exhibition.  Object(s) borrowed will be treated carefully, catalogued, displayed publicly until January 2010, then returned to the owner.

 

Object(s) shall not be altered in any way, cleaned, repaired, retouched or unframed, without the approval of the owner.

 

Object(s) lent shall remain in the possession of the Committee. It is the responsibility of the Lender to notify the Committee of a change of address or of a change in the ownership of the loaned property. Lent property will be returned only to the Lender of Record, unless the claimant can provide proof satisfactory to the Committee that he or she has the legal authority for the return of the loan. If after reasonable efforts and through no fault of its own, the Committee is unable to contact the Lender Of Record following the expiration of the loan, the Committee will have the right to store the loan object(s) in any manner. If after three years such property has not been withdrawn, and in consideration for its storage and safeguarding during this period, the property shall be deemed as an unrestricted gift to the Ware Historical Society.
